Terms of Service
of Amero Music Group (AMG)
Section 4: Media & Production Terms
1. Introduction to Media & Production Guidelines
Amero Music Group (AMG) provides artists with distribution, branding, and promotional support, ensuring that their content is delivered professionally. Artists are expected to follow the content guidelines set by major streaming platforms (Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, etc.) to avoid takedowns or legal issues. However, AMG acknowledges that certain music styles, such as drill, gangster rap, and “YN” artists, may involve themes that platforms often flag. In such cases, AMG will work with artists to navigate content restrictions while preserving creative integrity. AMG is not liable for platform-enforced content removals, demonetization, or strikes resulting from guideline violations. Artists are responsible for understanding and complying with the policies of platforms where their music is published.
2. Content Ownership & Rights
Artists who submit music, visuals, or promotional materials for AMG releases retain full ownership of their work unless otherwise specified in a licensing agreement. AMG does not claim ownership of music or visuals created by artists but retains the right to distribute, market, and promote submitted content. By submitting content to AMG, artists grant the collective a non-exclusive license to use, distribute, and monetize their material. AMG reserves the right to decline, remove, or delay content releases if the submitted material does not meet distribution standards. Any artwork, visuals, or promotional materials created by AMG for an artist remain AMG property unless otherwise agreed in writing.
3. Social Media & Brand Representation
Artists under AMG are expected to represent the collective professionally on social media and in public appearances. AMG encourages freedom of expression but prohibits hate speech, illegal activity, and public conflicts that may harm AMG’s reputation. Artists must credit AMG in official releases, social media posts, and promotional materials where applicable. Executives and artists are not permitted to make unauthorized business deals or public statements on behalf of AMG without approval. AMG reserves the right to suspend promotional efforts or terminate agreements if an artist’s actions damage the brand’s public image.
4. Platform Guidelines & Compliance
All music and media released through AMG must comply with the content policies of streaming services, social media platforms, and distribution partners. Artists must ensure that their music, artwork, and visuals do not violate platform-specific copyright, monetization, or content moderation rules. If a platform removes, demonetizes, or restricts content due to violations, AMG is not liable for any financial or creative losses. AMG will assist artists in resolving platform issues where possible, but artists are ultimately responsible for ensuring their content aligns with platform policies. AMG retains the right to modify releases to meet platform requirements if necessary.
5. Financial Responsibilities & Payment Clause
AMG does not guarantee immediate payments for music streams, promotions, or brand partnerships. Payments to artists will only be made after AMG receives funds from third-party distributors, brands, or other financial partners. AMG is not required to issue payments upfront and is not responsible for delays caused by streaming platforms or business partners. If an artist is owed a payout, AMG will process payments within a reasonable time after receiving funds. Artists must ensure that their payment details are correct, as AMG is not responsible for failed or lost transactions due to incorrect information. If an artist is unable to receive payments through AMG’s standard methods, alternative arrangements must be made at the artist’s expense.
6. Media Content & AMG’s Rights
AMG reserves the right to use artist content for promotional purposes across social media, websites, and official marketing campaigns. By engaging with AMG, artists grant permission for AMG to feature their work in compilations, advertisements, and collaborations. AMG may create promotional materials, including graphics, video clips, and edited visuals, to support artist releases. These promotional assets remain AMG property and may not be altered or resold without permission. If an artist wishes to withdraw their content from AMG promotions, a formal request must be submitted in writing. AMG is not responsible for third-party use of artist content beyond its control.
7. Final Agreement & Terms Update Policy
By engaging with AMG, artists and executives acknowledge that they have read and agreed to these terms. These guidelines ensure that AMG operates professionally while maintaining creative freedom for artists. Artists who fail to comply with these terms may face content takedowns, promotional suspension, or termination of their AMG agreement. AMG reserves the right to update these terms at any time, with changes taking effect immediately upon notification or publication. If an artist or executive does not agree to the updated terms, they must discontinue their engagement with AMG. Continued use of AMG services constitutes full acceptance of the latest version of these terms.
