Copyright Claims
Amero Music Group (AMG) is committed to protecting the rights of artists, producers, and content creators. If you believe your copyrighted content has been used without permission or you have received a copyright claim that you wish to dispute, this page will guide you through the process.
What is Copyright?
Copyright is a legal protection that grants the creator of original work exclusive rights over its use and distribution. This includes:
-
Music (lyrics, beats, compositions)
-
Artwork (cover designs, promotional materials)
-
Videos (music videos, visual content)
When you release music through AMG, we ensure it is properly licensed and distributed. If you use unauthorized beats, samples, or lyrics, copyright holders may file a claim against your content.
Copyright Disputes & Resolution
There are two primary reasons you may need to file a claim or appeal:
-
Your work has been used without permission – If someone has uploaded, distributed, or monetized your content without authorization, you may submit a copyright claim.
-
You received a copyright claim in error – If you believe a claim against your content is incorrect, you may submit a copyright appeal for review.
- Do not submit an appeal more than once for the same issue - if you submit a claim for the same issue more than once, your claim will not be reviewed.
Filing a Copyright Claim
If you are the copyright owner or a legal representative, you can report unauthorized use of your content. Before submitting a claim, ensure:
-
You hold the legal rights to the content.
-
The content was used without proper licensing or permission.
-
You provide proof of ownership (e.g., copyright registration, licensing agreement, timestamps,).
